PAINTINGS
I mainly work in acrylics, sometimes using oil and oil stick, crayons, charcoal and collage to enhance the work. Inspired by the landscape, exploring use of colour and texture.
PRINT MAKING
I work across several different print making techniques working both on paper and fabric. These include more traditional techniques of lino cut, intaglio and use of Tetra Pak and collagraphs. Printing on fabric, working with break down, screen and gelli printing.
TEXTILES
Inspired by the landscape and my garden, I work mostly in a collage format, enjoying working with patterns to convey the beauty and fragility of nature.
BOOKS
My prints, textiles and painted papers are all integrated into small books which tell stories and use verse to convey ideas and feelings. These are often in a concertina format .
